Tina, a designer's eye on the way from the Jordaan

Tina's sketchbook travels everywhere, and it is full of dresses that do not exist yet. Fashion design is her creative heartbeat; she draws on trams, in cafés, even in the back seat on the way to you, catching the cut of a coat she glimpsed under a streetlamp two bridges ago. By the time the car stops she may have redesigned your evening outfit too, and she will show you the page if you ask nicely.

Confident without being loud, warm without being sugary and wonderfully easygoing, she makes new company feel familiar within minutes. Small in stature at 158 cm yet athletic and strong, she wears her espresso brown hair long, and her brown eyes are warm and direct. Twenty-six, and completely comfortable in her own skin. Her own style is classic bikini elegance by the pool, navy and black and nothing fussy, carried into the evening as polished simplicity that flatters without ever shouting.

Craft cocktails are her favourite way to end a day, especially anything with a good gin, fresh herbs and a clever garnish, and she has been known to rate a bar on its ice alone. Record collecting is her quieter passion; she hunts for rare pressings on weekend mornings and loves the small ritual of lowering the needle on a new find.
