The short rule
The rule behind every address we visit is simple: if you can receive a guest there without asking anyone's permission but your own, an outcall visit will work. That covers a wide range of Amsterdam addresses, and the details below cover the ones guests ask about most.
Nothing about the rule depends on how grand or modest the address is. A single room above a bar and a top floor with a view of the harbour qualify on exactly the same terms, because what matters is who controls the door, not what is behind it.
The same rule travels well outside Amsterdam too. Whether the address sits inside the ring road or out towards Utrecht and Rotterdam, the question we ask ourselves is always the same one, and the answer is usually just as simple.
Hotels and aparthotels
Hotel rooms remain the most common address on our line, from a compact room behind a monument facade in the Jordaan to a glass tower with a lobby full of late check-ins. Aparthotels and serviced apartments work exactly the same way.
Whichever it is, our hotel outcall service is built around the walk through a lobby looking like nothing more than a well dressed guest arriving for the evening, an arrival Tina and plenty of others on the roster make nightly across the canal ring. A stricter front desk, a key-card lift, a check-in that has not quite happened yet, none of it changes the plan, it only changes what we mention to each other before she sets off.
Private apartments and rentals
A rented flat or your own apartment works exactly the same way, whether it is a short-stay booking in Amsterdam West or a long-term home near the centre. The only detail that matters here is access: a buzzer with no name on it, a lockbox code, a lift that needs a fob.
Many guests choose this kind of address for exactly the reasons behind our girlfriend experience, the comfort of staying somewhere that already feels like yours rather than a room booked for one night. Mention the access details upfront and the last few metres of her journey go as smoothly as the rest.
Houseboats and less usual addresses
Amsterdam has more houseboats than most cities have gondolas, and a good number of them take guests. A mooring is still an address, just one reached by a gangway instead of a staircase, and knowing that in advance means she arrives in the right shoes rather than the wrong ones.
Studios above workshops, garden rooms behind a main house and converted warehouse floors all fall into the same category, unusual to describe but completely normal in practice, and exactly the sort of address our petite companions navigate as easily as any hotel corridor.
Offices and other daytime spaces after hours
A private office or workspace can host a booking too, once the day has properly ended and the building has emptied out. It happens most often around Zuidas, where plenty of guests are still at a desk when the evening's plan starts.
The rule stays the same as everywhere else: an address you control, at an hour when nobody else has any reason to be there. A shared meeting room booked under someone else's name is a different matter, and worth raising honestly in the chat if you are unsure where the line sits.
A cleaner still working late, a colleague who forgot something at their desk, these are the sort of details worth a quick mention too, simply so nothing about the evening comes as a surprise to anyone.
What doesn't suit an outcall
A handful of settings simply do not work, not through any rule of ours but through plain logistics: a shared hostel dorm, a friend's home where you are the guest rather than the host, anywhere you could not invite a friend round without a longer conversation first.
If you are unsure whether an address qualifies, the honest answer is usually quick to give once you describe it, so raise it early rather than guessing and finding out at the door.

None of the detail above needs sorting out in advance of the first message either. Send what you already know, the neighbourhood, the type of building, and the rest can be filled in once a companion and a time are settled.
Asked before setting off
Can I book an outcall to my own home?
Yes, that is one of the most common addresses on our line. Treat it exactly like a hotel booking: send the address, the floor and any access details, and the rest runs the same way.
What if my hotel asks visitors to register at reception?
Mention it when you book. Most hotels never raise the question at all, but where one does, we plan the arrival around the front desk rather than through it.
Does a houseboat need special notice?
A little, mostly so she can plan for a gangway instead of a staircase rather than any special approval. Send the mooring details the same way you would a street address, and the timing works exactly like any other outcall booking.
Can an outcall happen somewhere outside the four home districts?
