Around Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
Schiphol lies south-west of the city in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, among the busiest hubs in Europe and practically a small town of its own. Hotels are spread across a few zones: right beside the terminal and Schiphol Plaza, in the business parks of Schiphol-Rijk and Schiphol-Oost, and in the nearby towns of Hoofddorp and Badhoevedorp, connected to the terminal by shuttle buses. We visit all of them. Your companion comes to your room, so there is no need to meet in the terminal or anywhere near passport control.

Why Schiphol needs a little more notice
Our companions are based in the Amsterdam districts, so every Schiphol booking begins with a drive out of the city. On a clear road the trip along the A10 and A4 takes roughly twenty to thirty minutes, but rush hour and roadworks can stretch it, and hotels in Hoofddorp add a little more. That is why we ask for extra notice here rather than the usual hour. Write to us once your landing time or hotel is clear, and we will confirm a realistic arrival in the chat before she sets off.

Airport hotels are used to people coming and going at every hour, which keeps arrivals here especially low-key. Once you are in your room, send the number, or mention a key-card lift so you can come down to the lobby to meet her. If you are staying in Hoofddorp or Badhoevedorp rather than on the airport grounds, give the town as well as the street, so the drive is planned to the right door from the start.

Layovers, delays and early flights
Travel rarely runs to plan, and we are used to that. If your flight is delayed, say so in the same WhatsApp or Telegram chat and we will move the arrival rather than start from scratch. For an overnight layover, a longer booking often makes more sense than a single hour, and the rates page explains how those are quoted. Early departure the next morning?
