A move is a request, not a right
A meeting overruns, a flight is delayed, a friend calls with a plan you had not expected. Asking to move a confirmed booking is an ordinary message on this line, but it is worth being clear about what it is: a request the desk may grant, not something the booking entitles you to. Once your yes is in writing, the booking itself is final; what can change, once, is the hour or the date it sits on.
The desk says yes to a move when her schedule allows it and the request arrives before she sets off. When it does, the deposit and the terms you accepted simply ride along to the new time, and nothing about the figure changes. When it does not, the original booking stands, and letting it go is a cancellation with the charge the terms set out.
What to send when you ask to move
The clearer the new plan, the faster the answer. A useful message names the new time you would like, says whether the companion and the address stay the same, and flags anything else that has shifted along with the hour.
The cut-off: before she sets off
The single firm line is her departure. A move can be asked for at any point up to the moment she sets off for your address; after that, the booking runs as agreed. A change requested once she is on the road is not a move, it is a cancellation in the 100% tier, because her evening has already been spent on the drive to you.
Well before that line, the earlier the request the better. A message sent the moment your plans shift, rather than close to the original hour, gives the best chance of keeping the same companion, simply because more of her evening is still open to rearrange around.
When the same companion is still free
If her evening allows it, the move is confirmed in the chat with the same name, a new arrival window and the same figure, and that written confirmation replaces the first one. The rest of the details from your original message, the address, the length, the deposit already paid, carry over without being repeated, unless something else about the plan has shifted too. Treat the new confirmation as the one that counts, and check it the way you checked the first.
When she is no longer free
Occasionally the new time you need clashes with something already booked into her evening, and the reply says so plainly rather than trying to make the old slot fit. What usually follows is an offer: another companion whose evening does match the new time, or an alternative hour when the woman you wanted is genuinely free.
Both are offers, never impositions. If neither suits you, the original booking stands at its original time. Declining the booking at that point is a cancellation, and it is charged on the usual windows: the deposit is kept or credited, or the cancellation charge is owed, exactly as our guide to cancelling explains.
One move, not several
A booking can move once. That is the desk's rule for every format, and it exists for a plain reason: a plan that keeps drifting is, in practice, a plan that is not happening, and a companion's evening cannot be held open indefinitely against it. After the one agreed move, the new time is the booking, and a further change is treated as a cancellation of it and, if you like, a fresh request for another night.

Moving to another day, or into a different format
A move from a Friday to the following Tuesday is asked for the same way as a move three hours later the same evening, and it is granted on the same terms: at the desk's discretion, once, before she sets off, with the deposit carried over. A wider gap tends to make the desk's yes easier, since more of her diary is still open, but it does not turn the move into a right.
Sometimes what starts as moving an hourly visit turns into something longer once the new time is on the table, an hour that becomes a dinner, an evening that becomes an overnight. Say so plainly. The new format gets its own figure, quoted before anything is confirmed, and because dinners and overnights are long formats, the wider cancellation windows in the terms apply to the moved booking from the moment you say yes to it.
Travel days and other long formats
Formats that take more coordinating in the first place deserve the most warning. Our travel companion bookings to places like Utrecht involve a whole day of her diary and a journey, so a move on one of those benefits from as much notice as you can manage, and the same goes for a duo or a couples evening, where two schedules have to line up again.
These are also the bookings that carry a deposit as a rule. The deposit moves with the booking when the move is agreed; if it is not, and the original day is dropped, the long-format windows apply: more than 7 days ahead the deposit becomes a credit, inside 7 days half the figure is due, and inside 72 hours the whole of it.
Asked before setting off
Is there a fee for moving a booking?
An agreed move is not a cancellation, so it is not charged; the rate stays the same and the deposit rides along to the new time. A move that is not agreed, or a second one, is different: the original booking stands, and dropping it is a cancellation charged on the windows in the terms.
How late can I ask to move?
Any time before she sets off, and the earlier the better. Once she is on the road the booking runs as agreed, and a change at that point counts as a cancellation in the 100% tier.
Can I move to a completely different day?
You can ask, and the desk decides on her schedule. It is the same one move, granted once and before she sets off, with the deposit and terms carried over to the new date.
What if I need to move an overnight or a dinner date?
The same rule applies, with more notice appreciated because those formats already tie up more of her evening. If no new time is agreed and the date is dropped, the long-format windows apply: credit beyond 7 days, half the figure inside 7 days, the whole figure inside 72 hours.
